Water My Plants has no developer-run servers and does not collect or send the data in the app (records, photos, etc.) to the developer. Everything is stored only on your device; if iCloud Backup is on, it may be included in your Apple backup.
Used only when you take or choose a photo. Photos stay on your device.
Only if you save a location for a place, the app checks your current location when it opens and when widgets refresh, to show the nearest place first. Location is only used for this on-device calculation and is never sent anywhere. You can turn it off in Settings at any time.
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device, without any server.
You can copy a record or send it through the share sheet to another app (for example Anthropic's Claude or OpenAI's ChatGPT). You choose where it goes; after that, the receiving app's privacy policy applies. The app itself sends nothing.
The current version shows no ads and does not track you. A future version with ads may use Google AdMob, which may process device identifiers (including the advertising identifier if you allow it), approximate location (based on IP address), ad interactions and diagnostics to serve and measure ads. Tracking with the advertising identifier happens only if you agree to iOS's tracking request. This page and the App Store privacy details will be updated before such a version is released.
